BOGOTA E

This Blog is written to share some information and experiences about a trip from the south to the  north of Colombia, the post is about “Bogota” the capital city which is very beautiful and you need to see it when you are in Colombia.

There is a big airport that has many options for international flights, there are many possibilities for you to enjoy the city, depending on your interests  you will find the bohemian and/or the cultural aspects of Bogota and maybe you will love Bogota and want to make it your home. Bogota is a city which is open to all.

The cultural life in Bogota, includes; theater, concerts, cinema….etc, you can find all of this in the historic center and the nearby neighborhoods like Teusaquillo or Chapinero. At the end of this post we will leave some useful links so you can plan your time in Bogota.

In Bogota you need something warm to wear as the weather during the day can became a little cold. you can walk or sit in the many park  benches and enjoy the sun, and the many trees.

Bogota has a temperate climate and  almost always there is a little bit of rain around.

From Wednesday to Sunday it is possible to get free cultural activities or really cheap prices, these activities include concerts, theatre, photo exhibitions, street theatre and more. The “carrera sèptima” is a long walk along this avenue, there are some bikes that you can use for free too, but you need to register and complete documents to get one of them.

if you like to party, Bogota offers something for everyone.

Personally I like dancing “salsa”. The music and the movement of the caribbean rhythms, makes everybody want to dance.

you will find many places to dance on “carrera cuarta con calle 19 o con calle 13” which is in the center of the city.

the casual and friendly atmosphere is such that you can  arrive here and you will find many people just like you, searching for a good party to dance the night away. Salsa is not the only dance style you will find there other genres. Bogota caters for all tastes and for young and old.

Another possibility if you are looking for something up market you will find it in “calle 85 o parque de la 93” here there are a variety of restaurants and bars for your enjoyment.

Taganga - P

Taganga

Santa Marta em si, não me impressionou tanto, por ser uma cidade portuária, barulhenta, quente e trabalhadeira. Ela tem de fato um centro bonito, mas ele é muito pequeno.

O próximo povoado, Taganga,  totalmente diferente de Santa Marta, é um paraíso turístico: há variedade de hospedagem, de alimentação e de produtos em geral. O povoado é pequeno, sendo ponto de encontro de Hippies. Somente a rua principal é asfaltada. Em Taganga pode-se fazer tours de barco e mergulho.

 Bogota

A ideia deste blog é compartilhar informação e experiências de viagem da Colômbia de norte a sul. Fizemos um post sobre Bogotá também, já que é uma cidade muito importante. A qual deve-se visitar. Além disso é a maior cidade colombiana, e com um aeroporto internacional. Se você está buscando uma cidade bela, boemia e internacional, Bogotá é o lugar certo. Bogotá também pode ser seu lar, é uma cidade hospitaleira.

Atividades culturais, encontra-se normalmente no centro histórico da cidade ou nos bairros ao redor dele, como Teusaquillo ou Chapinero. No final da página há links interessantes para quem pretende visitá-la.

Geralmente Bogotá é fria, por alguns meses durante o dia, a temperatura pode subir e pode-se aproveitar o sol nos parques, o que é raro. Os dias são chuvosos e um pouco frios, o que não significa que não há diversão.

Em Bogotá, pode-se encontrar atividades diferentes, grátis ou baratas, a partir de quarta-feira, como shows, teatro, eventos musicais, etc. A rua “carrera séptima” é reservada para pedestres e ciclistas e para contemplação.

De outro lado, quando gosta-se de festas, pode-se encontrar no centro diversos bares, com músicas variadas. Eu recomendo alguns bares de Salsa da rua “carrera quarta” com as “calles 19 ou 13”. Aqui você encontrará pessoas alegres e festeiras. Há também outras possibilidades, até mais “fancy” na calle 85 e no parque da 93, ao redor desses locais há possibilidades para aproveitar o tempo livre, divertir-se e descansar.

Mais belas cidades colombianas - P

Visitamos Cartagena, conhecida nos guias como a mais bela cidade colombiana. Como você pode ver no mapa da cidade, o centro antigo está localizado estratégicamente em uma península. Pode-se ver por fora as antigas fortificações, e por dentro ruelas com casinhas muito bonitas, bem cuidadas e varandas floridas, que lhe fazem esquecer que você está em uma cidade muito pobre de natureza.

Stadtplan Cartagena

Popayan, conhecida como a segunda mais bela. Para ver as duas cidades foi necessário reservar um voo. Naturalmente pode-se viajar de ônibus, porém toma muito tempo e não queríamos perder tempo.

Quando você pode levar uma bagagem de 6kg ou menos, economiza-se muito. Há uma linha aérea barata na Colômbia, que possui preços incrivelmente baratos. Perfeito para pessoas que podem renunciar ao luxo de bagagem e comida num voo.

O centro de Popayan surpreende com suas lindas casinhas brancas de portas, janelas e varandas negras. Ruelas, parques, tudo cheio de vida. Infelizmente há poucas zonas para pedestres. Hospedagens diversas são um ponto positivo. No parque encontra-se sempre eventos ao ar livre e gratuitos.
